(More customer reviews)The quality of the materials and construction of this cover is pretty good, and it will do an okay job of protecting the grill. However, with a few modifications, this cover could have been significantly better.
The cover is "symmetric" from side to side, however the grill has the regulator valve and gas bottle holder on one side, and the cover should have been been tailored to fit around those projections. Weber should have made the whole thing about 3 inches longer from top to bottom so that it could envelop the whole grill better and eliminate the chance of the thing flying off in a high wind. It has a draw string at the bottom, but because the cover doesn't quite come down far enough on the side with the regulator valve, it isn't quite as secure as it could be. All that being said, it is still worth ten bucks.
With just a little bit of re-engineering and a few cents more of material, this cover could be improved substantially.
