(More customer reviews)This product is great for spit roasting. Instead of having to time a prime rib roast or continually check it with a thermometer for internal temp,the remote readout gives you an accurate reading.
The only drawback I found is that the alarm goes off about 3 degrees above set point which is easily corrected by dropping the setpoint 3 degrees. Good rig. Use it lots.
