(More customer reviews)I ordered this grill cover after my wife bought me a new grill for Father's Day. The first cover came with a large slit through the packaging right into the cover! I was upset but when I contacted the company to replace it they over-nighted a replacement and a return shipping label. The customer service blew me away. The new cover arrived and is exactly what I expected. This is not a heavy duty canvas cover, but is more than enough to protect your grill for a couple seasons. After a few months it is still in great shape and has not faded at all. The velcro straps at the bottom are a great way to custom size the cover to your grill. If you don't want to spend 50 bucks on a Cubs grill cover, then this is the way to go! Happy with my purchase. Go Cubbies!!

But what a hit it was! Now we serve paella fairly often for company. It's a great dish if your kitchen is open to the entertaining area because the making of the paella is part of the fun, and your guests will appreciate the dinner that much more. The paella was delicious, and the La Paella recipe that came with the pan was quite easy to follow (we made the seafood one). My large pan is a carbon steel pan, which works great - just make sure you dry it well after washing so it doesn't rust. But I opened the lid of the smoker to check the temperature, inserted the thermometer, turned to quickly answer a friend's question about the barn and when I turned back to the grill, the plastic on the thermometer had bubbled and melted all over poor Steven's face. I threw the other one out. Not a good buy.

They are lightweights compared to my previous Weber oven mitts. I'll use them until they fail and then I'll buy leather fireplace gloves or Weber oven mitts to replace them (which I expect to be in the very near future).

That grill had the lava rocks that moved every time you moved the grill and besides that the legs fell off. We were looking for something that would have fold under legs and no rocks. The Road Trip saved our camping days. We purchased a bag for it, keep it stored in the belly of the camper and with putting water in the tray below the burners, it is very very easy to clean up. You can place this on the picnic table to cook on or use the fold down legs. We have also discovered that this is the best way to cook grilled onions and potatoes or pork chops or chicken, etc on the griddle. Very very convenient and easy clean up. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because:
1. By the very design of a cage, you are limited to what size fish you can put in it. some very large fish are just too big for this tool.
2. The handle is necessarily very long, to keep it cooler. This gets in the way on the grill and makes it nearly impossible to close the grill cover. But, we just let it hang out the front and close the cover as far as we can.
3. The handle still gets too hot to grip at times.

Bayou Classic 0770-PDQ Leg and Wing Rack Review

(More customer reviews)I haved used this in the oven and on the grill and was pleased with the results. The legs were golden brown, crispy, moist, and delicious. For the oven, I placed the rack on a large jelly roll pan (it's too long to fit in a 13x9 pan) lined with foil. The grease drippings from the legs will generate a lot of smoke inside the oven so the directions say to pour a 1/4 cup of water inside the pan to prevent smoking. I had to do that a couple of times. I sprayed the rack with a little cooking spray before loading it up and cleaning it was easy.
The rack should be used with indirect heat on the grill. I pushed the coals to one side of the grill and was able to use the additional space under the rack and in front of it to grill additional items at the same time. It takes about 30-45 minutes to cook the legs through depending on the size. You can always pull the smaller ones off while the larger one continue to cook. I cooked my first batch in the oven for 45 minutes and even the smaller ones were juicy. The grilled ones were even better since I tossed on a handful of wood chips.
The rack is sturdy and easily supports the legs. I thought they would probably fall off once they shrank a bit from cooking but they didn't. I haven't tried wings on it yet.

They are worth every penny. I like to grill over a wood fire, and the Super Skewer has no peers. The twin, thin, SS tines are easy to load, won't split the veggies, and the food stays put when you flip them. The wood handles keeps the burn cream in the cabinet. They are nice and LONG to bridge a gas grill with the grates removed, or to hold wieners and marshmallows over a campfire.
I bought both the regular and the heavy duty (thicker tines) super skewers and love them both. The regular are fine for standard kabobs, the heavy-duty will hold just about anything else you may want to grill. I am going to experiment using two or three skewers side by side (4to 6 tines) for roasts, whole birds, or maybe even fish.
If you know someone that kabobs, they would be shocked at the quality of these compared to what they are probably now using (hey, give a gift - get an invite to a great BBQ) Maybe the best thing about the super skewers is that they are made in the USA by a small business. (More customer reviews)We own a Kenmore grill which had really terrible grates. This was one of Kenmore's removable grate system that we thought would work out well. But the grates that came with the grill were not working for us. They were wider than normal grids and heat distribution was a problem. As a result of that, food would get stuck on it and it was close to impossible to clean them. And of course cleaning them after every grill use was just a waste of time. Didn't leave me any time to enjoy an extra beer :).
But these grates are nice. They are close to what you get with a Weber or a more expensive grill. They are cast iron and porcelain coated which makes for even heat distribution. We threw some steaks on them right out of the box and they worked fantastic. Also, they come in three separate pieces and were a perfect fit for our grill. I would highly recommend these as replacement grill grates.

The only drawback I found is that the alarm goes off about 3 degrees above set point which is easily corrected by dropping the setpoint 3 degrees. Good rig. Use it lots.

Like ballpark (I mean, where they actually play baseball, people) hotdogs, but better, because we did them over coals. They had a perfectly browned, slightly crisp, skin. Was it a fluke? It was not. Time after time this device has delivered franks of perfection. We wash the metal part in the dishwasher, but the wooden handle in the sink. It now has a brown coating of burnt on grease, but it hasn't affected its performance in any way. Is it worth it? Oh, yes.
