(More customer reviews)These are excellent gloves for both the grill and fireplace. They are long (18"), so they cover the entire forearm, and they are heavy duty (thick leather). Also, they are gloves, not mitts, and that makes a huge difference. Mittens give you no ability to grip or pick up items; gloves give you all the flexibility of, well, gloves!
My husband has used these everyday for both grilling duties and stocking his fireplace.
He is super picky about quality, and these meet his exacting standards.
The two 1-star reviews here are not based on this product, but rather on the manufacturer and the shipper. I hope those customers followed up, got their products, and then review the actual gloves.
