Regardless it can be used in the oven but you need a big drip pan to go with it. This rack is made of stainless steel, heavy sturdy construction, will last several lifetimes.

Where I live in South Carolina, this cover is perfect for me because it snows maybe once a year here and just rains a bit besides. If you live in a climate with harsher winters, like Colorado, Michigan, or upstate New York, i would recommend getting the Weber Premium Grill Cover Instead. It will probably hold up to the harsher climate a little better.

Weber 6409 Salt and Pepper Shakers Review

(More customer reviews)I grill a lot and like to have my tools by my grill so I really liked that weber made a salt and pepper shaker. Now I don't have to take the main salt shaker out to the grill and instead have my own dedicated salt and pepper shakers which is great.
These are built well, they are all plastic but for $6.99 you can't ask for more. The construction however does seem very solid. The only thing I wish these had that they don't is twist top to close the shakers. These always are "open". It's not a big issue, but one of those things that would have been nice. Imagine if weber put a metal closer on top that looks like the vents on their grills? That would look excellent!
Anyways, great product at a great price, Perfect for a stocking stuffer.

(More customer reviews)My Weber is about 5yrs old and the old porcelain grills were pretty worn and warped from the heat. I've had the new grates and they work fantastic. They don't stick and are easier to clean since the design is not interlaced like the porcelain grates. Its a bit early to say they will last as long or longer than the porcelain grates but they are off to a promising start.
I would highly recommend getting these, Its much cheaper then getting a whole new Weber Grill and it feels like you have a new grill by replacing the grates and flavoring bars.

Weber 7553 Genesis Series Cover Review

(More customer reviews)When I purchased my new Weber Genesis grill I wanted to get a nice cover to protect it. Amazon had it listed as backordered so I went to my local HD to buy this Weber grill cover. When I open the box I immediately noticed the nice material quality. Put the cover on my new grill and it was a perfect fit. The velcro straps hold the cover on tight so it will never blow off in a wind storm. Then I noticed two large mesh vents, one above each side table. It didn't make sense to me, but hey I'm sure Weber knows what they are doing. Then a few days later it rained on my new cover. The next day I went out to pull off the cover and both side tables had large water puddles on them. That's when I found out that when water collects on the side tables, it will drain into the cabinet below the grill. Frustrated, I went to Amazon again and read the reviews on the cover. Several people mentioned a rear vent but none mentioned any side vents. So I purchased the cover from Amazon and waited several weeks for it. I was excited to see on the box pictures that it didn't have side vents. As I pulled the cover out my excitement turned to disappointment that it had side vents and no rear vent. This cover is useless with the side vents. I will be returning it. If this is Weber's new design, I will be purchasing a generic grill cover. 5 stars for the cover durability and velcro straps, 0 stars for the side vent design.
Update 11/09/07: By trial and error I was able to find a Weber grill cover with a rear vent at a different HD. This is a much better design than the side vent version. Unfortunately, you cannot tell which version you are getting by only looking at the box. The boxes are identical down to the date code markings.

Because of the sugar in the sauce, the kabobs often get stuck to the hot grill so the meat tears when the kabobs are turned. This set keeps the kabobs off the hot grill while letting the chicken brown nicely. If I could rate the set 6 stars I would without any hesitation. The set is so good that I bought one for each of my four children! If you are serious about grilling kabobs involving delicate foods, this is a must!

(More customer reviews)I love my Weber kettle grill. I can cook almost anything on it. The one problem with the grill is there is no thermometer on it to know what temperature I am cooking at. I decided to check at our local retail store for one and could not find one. I then decided to check Amazon and found the Weber replacement "Dual Thermometer". It works just great. What you do is put the thermometer in the smoke hole/vents to see what the temp is while you are cooking. I know this works well because "America's Test Kitchen" was reviewing grilling gadgets and recommended this to use for the Weber grill. Now I can see how hot things are that I am roasting, or cooking.

(More customer reviews)I was going to buy this exact same grill from Home Depot online, until they infomed me that shipping was going to run me $75.00! Amazon shipped it for free! I wanted to post a rant on HD's website warning everyone that they are paying high shipping costs unnecessarily, but their guidelines don't allow mention of any competitors.
The grill itself is great! Only took an hour to assemble, would have assembled faster if I hadn't gone slow in order to get it right the first time. Cooked steaks for the first time on it tonight, and there were no hot spots of any kind. There are still occasional flare-ups, but I don't think you can get away from that with any grill...and I've had several.
All in all, an excellent experience and great product! Thanks Amazon!

Weber 6432 Silicone Basting Brush Review

(More customer reviews)Folks, this is a heavy brush and it is a good brush! I, like many others have use either a nylon or plastic-ish sort of brushes for years and was just a bit leery of "silicone." My goodness, resistance to change is certainly a sign of getting older I suppose, but it is also a big time impediment when it comes to doing things better and easier. This basting brush is oh so much better than the ones I was using before...both on the grill and in the oven.
This is a very reasonably priced well built tool and it is big and heavy. I've no doubt that if the circumstances were right, you could use it as some sort of defensive weapon. But of course that is not what you buy it for. You buy it to slather stuff on other stuff so that it will taste better when you eat it. This brush more than fulfills its calling in life. It allows a smooth flow and allows you to regulate the amount of what ever it is you are smearing on your food as you cook. As a big time plus for me, you can put this thing in the dishwasher. That may not seem like much, but cleaning one of the old type basting brushes could be a real pain and a bit time consuming...they certainly were not built for dishwashers, which since I am the official dishwasher in our household, is quite at the top of my list of things I want and this has made my life much easier.
I like Weber products; buy them when ever they are available, and I certainly have not been unhappy with this purchase. Unless I do something real stupid, which does happen now and again, this brush should last me for years! I may quite well put this item in my will.
Grilling tip for you: I bought this as a replacement brush for the one I have had used for a couple of years. I found that if you become distracted and lay the basting brush...any basting brush, over the open flames of a grill and leave it there, it will burn. This causes a horrid mess and the smell is not pleasing. When grilling, you got to keep your head in the game and let others yell at the dogs.

Weber Style 6441 Professional-Grade Chef's Tongs Review

(More customer reviews)This a good, sturdy set of tongs, good length and comfortable to hold. If I could change them, though, I would do something about the tips. In my opinion, they are bent inwards too much--you end picking things up w/ just the tips rather than the whole grabber, which can lead to torn meat. Weber should know better! Also, I think I prefer the sliding tong lock to this pull mechanism. Works fine now, but I worry that down the road it will get loose and start locking while I am using them; that would be very frustrating. But, so far so good.

Weber 7554 Premium Cover, Fits Summit 400-Series Grills Review

(More customer reviews)Most of the Weber equipment is excellent (if pricey), but their vinyl covers are not very good. The material does not breathe, and while the latest versions have apparently eliminated the mesh air circulation vents which also allowed rain to pour onto the grill, they now presumably will have issues with condensation in hot weather... I have tried two of these Weber covers (with vents), and in addition to leaking, both have cracked after a couple of season's exposure to the California sun. Overall I have been quite disappointed.
As an alternative, check out the Veranda BBQ Cart Cover. This is a *far* superior design, and costs less as well! The material is a tough nylon weave (similar to soft-luggage) with a polyester backing and piping at the key seams. The elastic cinch on both ends, combined with nylon buckles at each leg ensure that the cover will stay in place during even the highest winds. There are rain-protected vents directly over the left/right tables, with inner 'no-see-um mesh' to stop bugs. Even the built-in handles to simplify removal are a nice touch and work well.
The Large size fits our Weber Summit S-470 perfectly. The edge seams line-up exactly, and the bottom hem rests on the cart wheels. I first tried the XL (which is supposedly the 'right' size for the 400-series), but the seams were off by several inches and the cover also drooped on the ground. Presumably the XL would fit the Summit 600-series instead.
